Raise PAKT – Parents and Kids Together

Raise PAKT is a family support programme funded through the Department for Education, designed to strengthen relationships between parents, carers and their children while helping families overcome challenges that may affect everyday life, wellbeing and engagement with school.

Through welcoming, practical and enjoyable activities, children are given opportunities to build confidence and develop healthier routines. The programme, delivered in partnership with Community Intercultural Programme and Killicomaine Residents Group, works alongside each family, recognising their individual strengths and helping them identify achievable steps towards positive and lasting change.

Raise PAKT can support families with:

• Strengthening relationships and communication

• Building confidence in parenting

• Developing positive routines at home

• Supporting children’s emotional health and wellbeing

• Improving engagement with school and learning

• Connecting families with additional community support

At the heart of Raise PAKT is a simple belief: when parents, children, schools and communities work together, families are better equipped to thrive.
 

Raise Enable – Post-16 Pathways

Raise Enable supports young people as they prepare to take their next steps beyond school and move towards education, training or employment.

Through practical, personalised support, young people are helped to recognise their strengths, build confidence and develop the skills employers and education providers value. The programme works closely with schools, employers and community partners to create meaningful learning experiences and positive progression opportunities.

Raise Enable can support young people with:

• CV writing and interview preparation

• Developing communication, teamwork and employability skills

• Gaining relevant qualifications

• Exploring education, training and career pathways

• Engaging with employers and learning about the world of work

• Building confidence, resilience and independence

• Making a successful transition beyond school

At the heart of Raise Enable is the belief that every young person has potential. With the right encouragement, opportunities and practical support, they can build a positive pathway towards their future.
